Enjoy The Historical And Beach City Chitre

The Chitre is one of the oldest settlements of Panama and therefore, it is a major attraction for tourists. Travelers from all over the world come to Chitre to know about history if this place as well as to see its beauty. Because of the same reason, even I came to this city. I have always been curious to more about this city. Here is the city in my view. The city has some of the most interesting beaches according to me. The city is the cultural and historic capital of the region. The records of Colonial-era show that a village was at the place somewhere in 1558.

You walk around the nooks and crannies of Chitre and you will see the historical imprints. I have a huge collection of photographs of those. I clicked pictures of whatever I find interesting at the place. Some of the places that I liked most in Chitré are ceramic shops in La Arena, Playa El Agallito birdlife, Parita, Cenegón del Mangle wildlife refuge. Chitre hosts some internationally acclaimed wild parties every year. You can check dates and be the part of the same. Unfortunately, during my visit there was no such party, will try next time.

Longueuil: Exploring The Fun Things To Do

Longueuil is a small suburbia town in Montreal. The commercial, industrial, and residential city didn’t fail to impress me. Its historical heritage dates back to the year 1657. Albeit, neglected by tourists and travelers, I must that this city houses several attractions. Whenever you are Montreal, visit Longueuil for it is worth exploring. Here are some of the best things that you can do when you are in this city.

  • Go hiking or skiing

Irrespective of when you decide to visit, make sure that you check out Parc Michel-Chartrand. The popular park has 3 lakes, one playground, and a marsh. There is also a beautiful garden. However, what interested me the most was the skiing trail. You will also find an ice rink and sledding slope. In case you are visiting when the weather is nice, take a walk on the hiking trails.

  • Stopover at wildlife reserve

At the north-east of Longueuil, you will find Boise du Tremblay. It is protected by the Natural Resource and Wildlife of Quebec Ministry. The biodiversity of this area is simply going to amaze you. It covers an area of 267 hectares. There are some interesting wildlife and an extensive range of plant species.

  • Enjoy live music

Longueuil is famous for its International Percussion Festival. However, I only take place in July and is held for just 6 days. It has been an amazing experience listening to 500 musicians. It attracts a large number of people every year. Musicians from all over the country take part in it.

  • Visit an island

A part of the archipelago of Îles de Boucherville is the Charron Island. At present this is a green space but once had been the property of Rene Gaultier, the French Governor. Spent here some quite within the greenery and the incredible beach. You can access the beach either by road or by ferry.
