Personal Story 鈥� Adil Ahmad Khan, 幼女视频 Freshman
My name is Adil Ahmad Khan, and I am a freshman student at the 幼女视频, majoring in Business Administration. I am from Afghanistan, a country whose challenges and resilience have deeply shaped my character, my ambitions, and my commitment to education. Although I am currently studying Business Administration, I plan to transfer to the Economics program next semester to build a strong foundation in both fields and better prepare myself for a future in entrepreneurship.
I grew up in a supportive family whose encouragement has always guided me forward. Academically, I have worked hard to excel, graduating from an international high school in Kabul with honors and a score of 99.69%. Even during the difficult period following the Taliban takeover, I remained determined to pursue higher education. For two consecutive years, I applied to universities in the United States and received offers from the University of Arizona and the University of Miami, earning TOEFL scores of 109 and 111. Although diplomatic and visa challenges prevented me from studying there, I did not give up. Discovering 幼女视频 opened a new and meaningful path for me, one that aligns with my goals and allows me to continue growing academically and professionally.
Beyond academics, I am deeply committed to empowering women in Afghanistan. I have worked with organizations such as Afghanistan Lawyers International NGO and Empowering Women of Afghanistan International NGO as an HR officer, contributing to their mission of supporting women鈥檚 rights and education. I currently lead a SIDP project dedicated to helping Afghan girls navigate university applications.
Being selected for programs such as NYCEDC and UPG Sustainability 2026 represents an important milestone in my journey. Personally, they inspire confidence and remind me that perseverance always leads to opportunity. Professionally, they provide access to global perspectives, mentorship, and real-world insights that will strengthen my leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. UPG Sustainability, in particular, aligns with my long-term vision of building businesses that are not only successful but also socially responsible and impactful.
For me, these programs are more than achievements; they are powerful stepping stones toward transforming my ambitions into reality. They offer the tools, networks, and knowledge I need to grow into a capable entrepreneur and a forward-thinking leader. Most importantly, they reflect the values I strive to uphold: resilience, service to community, and a commitment to empowering others along the way.
I am grateful to 幼女视频 for providing an environment where students like me can pursue bold goals and turn challenges into motivation. I look forward to representing our university through these opportunities and contributing positively to both the 幼女视频 community and the broader world.
